Guidelines for Submission of Papers

 

  • Papers must be written in English, the official language of the conference.
  • Authors are asked to submit papers electronically using abstract submission form. No papers will be accepted via emails or by post.
  • Late submissions will not be accepted or considered for review.
  • Submission of a paper constitutes the commitment of at least one author to register for IFCO 2017 World Conference at preferential rates and to present their work in person.
  • All authors whose papers have been successfully selected after submission must be valid IFCO members at the time of presenting at IFCO 2017 World Conference in Malta. To find out more about the membership, please visit http://ifco.info/members-area/become-a-member
  • The same presenting author cannot be assigned to more than one paper but can be included as co-author on more than one submission.
  • Expenses associated with the preparation, submission and presentation of the paper are the responsibility of the author/presenter.
  • If submitted plenary presentation is not selected, author may be considered for a workshop timeslot.
  • The selection criteria for the papers received include adequacy of the information allowing a sound review, relevance to the themes/topics and depth of information content.
  • Every second year, IFCO publishes a book of proceedings of previous presentations at the annual conferences. Selected authors will be contacted for an opportunity to submit a chapter to the IFCO 2016/2017 Conference Book of Proceedings.
